S-CDMA (Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) A modulation technique that transmits 128 orthogonal codes simultaneously. S-CDMA is used in combination with 128-point quadrature amplitude modulation trellis-coded modulation (128-QAM TCM) in cable modems specified in the Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS).
