释义 | buffer The fields in the BSC block are as follows: • PAD: An optional PADding character to alert the receiving device of the transmission of a block of data and to ensure that the receiving device is in sync with the data bits. • SYN: SYNchronizing characters (usually two) establish character synchronization between the transmission and the receiving devices. • SOH: A Start-Of-Header control character preceding the optional header. • Header: An optional field of one or more octets of auxiliary data such as the addresses of the transmitting and receiving devices. • STX: A Start-of-TeXt control character indicates the beginning of the data field. • Text: Also known as the payload or data field.The text field can be up to 512 octets in length. • ETX: An End-of-TeXt control character signaling the end of the data field. • BCC: One of two Block Check Characters for error detection. • EOT or PAD: An End-Of-Transmission character or PADding character trails the transmission to ensure the receipt of all previous characters and to indicate the end of the block.
