The first multiple launch of CubeSats, involving about six CubeSats and a primary commercial payload. It was launched on 30 June 2003, from Plesetsk, Russia. It was followed by Launch 2, comprising three CubeSats, on 27 October 2005, from Plesetsk, and Launch 4, of seven CubeSats, on 17 April 2006, from Baikonur, Kazakhstan. Launch 3 failed shortly after launch on 26 July 2006.
