With Ophiomorpha, an ichnoguild of cylindrical or U-shaped, vertical or steeply inclined burrows, permanently occupied by suspension feeders. The burrows lack spreiten, and were possibly formed in shallow, sublittoral environments. Burrows of this type are recorded from the Cambrian to Recent.
