The Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array, a NASA X-ray observatory launched in 2012 June. It carries twin grazing-incidence telescopes to image the sky in the high-energy range 3–79 keV. The images from the two telescopes are combined on the ground to provide greater sensitivity than would be possible with one telescope alone.
