A JAXA mission to return samples from asteroid Itokawa. It was launched in 2003, after which the mission name was changed from Muses-C to Hayabusa, and arrived at Itokawa in September 2005. Its attempts to land failed and it was unable to collect samples, but it returned large amounts of data. Hayabusa 2 reached Ryugu in June 2018.
