A UK government publication (named after the colour of its cover) that provides data on UK national income and expenditure, both in the aggregate and by sectors. The annual United Kingdom National Accounts is published by the UK Office for National Statistics (formerly the Central Statistical Office). Before 1983 it was entitled National Income and Expenditure. The Blue Book is now available online.
