A relatively warm period that occurred towards the end of the last (Devensian) glacial stage in Britain. The event took place about 13 000–11 000 radiocarbon years BP. The Windermere Interstadial includes the Bølling-Allerød and Older Dryas chronozones of Scandinavia.
