A binary star with components of widely differing masses, and somewhat ambiguous spectral features. The type star is a semidetached Algol star, with a late-A-type primary (1.5 solar masses) and a G-type subgiant of very low mass (about 0.1 solar mass) and evidence of circumstellar material. The stars in this group have periods of the order of 1 day that are variable, and thus imply mass transfer or mass loss.
