Qantas Airways Limited is the flag carrier airline of Australia and its largest airline in terms of fleet size, international flights, and international destinations. Founded in 1920 as Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited, the company began international flights in 1935. Qantas entered the jet age in 1959 when the first Boeing 707 was delivered. It now has a mixed fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Qantas is connected with other airlines through the Oneworld airline alliance.
