An Egyptian fraction is a sum of reciprocals of positive integers such as $\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{5}+\frac{1}{6}$ which sums to $\frac{7}{10}.$ All positive rational numbers may be so expressed, though not uniquely, and a greedy algorithm (due to Fibonacci) will determine such expressions.
