A minisatellite project of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, United Arab Emirates, that provides high-resolution panchromatic and multispectral optical images from a spacecraft in a Sun-synchronous low Earth orbit. DubaiSat-1 was launched on 29 July 2009, from Baikonur, Kazakhstan, and completed its mission in March 2017. DubaiSat-2 was launched on 21 November 2013, from Yasny Cosmodrome, Russia.
