Theories of truth that aim at showing that truth is not a ‘robust’ or metaphysically heavyweight property. The general idea is that there may be nothing to say about truth in general. But if you provide any sentence, such as ‘ducks quack’ it is possible to say what its truth consists in, namely ducks quacking. The original theory of this kind is the redundancy theory of truth.
