SSB (Single SideBand)

The process of amplitude modulation (AM) results in the creation of two side-

bands. An upper sideband is above the carrier frequency and a lower sideband is below the carrier frequency. SSB transmission suppresses one of the sidebands. See also AM, amplitude, carrier, DSB, frequency, modulation, sideband, and VSB.
