Referring to a quality of service (QoS) level designed for applications that do not require transmission to take place in real time, but nearly so.That is to say the transmission must take place within a reasonably short time from the exact moment as the event itself takes place in the real world. Near-realtime QoS is essential in many applications directly involving humans and their perception of time.
