LAPF (Link Access Procedure for Frame Mode Services) • Information: A variable-size field with a maximum of 260 octets comprising upper-layer information.The size of the field is system-dependent. Only information frames include an information field. • Frame Check Sequence (FCS): A two-octet cyclic redundancy check (CRC) field that provides error detection.
