For discrete data, the information consisting of the possible values and the corresponding cumulative frequencies is called the cumulative frequency distribution. For grouped data, it gives the information consisting of the groups and the corresponding cumulative frequencies. It may be presented in a table or in a diagram similar to a histogram.
