An alternative to Andrews plots as a method of giving a two-dimensional representation of multivariate data. The shape and size of the various characteristics of a face are varied according to the values of the variables concerned.
Chernoff faces. The horizontal scaling, vertical scaling, size of eyes, and shape of mouth are governed by the values of various attributes of the creatures being compared. Note the similarity between sheep and goat!
