A pair of interacting 14th-magnitude spiral galaxies some 300 million l.y. away in Coma Berenices; also known as NGC 4676A and B, or IC 819 and 820. The gravitational interaction around 160 million years ago has drawn off long tails of stars and gas from each galaxy, hence the name.
