A graduate of Queen’s U, Ontario in 1944, Bradley gained his PhD (supervised by Hotelling) at UNC in 1949. After posts at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and FSU, he ended his career at U Georgia. Editor of Biometrics from 1957 to 1962, Bradley was President of the IBS in 1965, and of the ASA in 1981.
