A satellite of Saturn, occupying the leading Lagrangian point (L4) in the orbit of Tethys; also known as Saturn XIII. Its distance from the planet is 294 720 km, and its orbital period 1.888 days. Telesto is 33 × 24 × 20 km in size, with a smooth and sparsely cratered surface. It was discovered in 1980 on images from Voyager 1.
