An Italian 3.58-m reflector at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory, opened in 1998. It is operated by the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics. The telescope has a thin mirror similar to that of the New Technology Telescope, utilizing active optics and adaptive optics.
