An outer retrograde moon of Uranus, distance 12 179 400 km; also known as Uranus XVII. Sycorax orbits every 1288.4 days at an inclination of 159°.4 to the ecliptic. It is about 150 km in diameter and was discovered in 1997 from ground-based observations.
