Asteroid 704, discovered in 1910 by the Italian astronomer Vincenzo Cerulli (1859–1927). It is the fifth-largest main-belt asteroid, diameter 317 km. Interamnia is an F-type asteroid, with a rotation period of 8.73 hours. Its orbit has a semimajor axis of 3.06 au, period 5.35 years, perihelion 2.59 au, aphelion 3.53 au, and inclination 17°.3.
