A type of tektite found in Thailand and the area formerly known as Indo-China, comprising Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, one of many regions in Southeast Asia where tektites have been recovered. Subtypes found in different locations include the billitonites, malaysianites, thailandites, philippinites, and vietnamites. Collectively, they form part of the Australasian tektite strewn field. Ablation ages for indochinites are 600 000–750 000 years, similar to the australites, which suggests that they formed during the same impact event.
