A series of seven multipurpose communications and meteorological spacecraft operated by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). INSAT-3B was launched on 21 March 2000, -3C on 3 February 2002, Kalpana-1 (MetSat-1) on 12 September 2002, -3A on 9 April 2003, -3E on 28 September 2003, and -3D on 25 July 2013, all from Kourou, French Guiana. INSAT-3DR, a repeat mission similar to -3D, was launched on 8 September 2016, from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, India.
