A series of NASA missions of discovery created to explore our Solar System with frequent spacecraft that serve to answer the biggest questions, building on previous missions to continue to push the frontiers of Solar System exploration. The New Frontiers Program conducts principal investigator-led space science investigations under a development cost cap of approximately US$1 billion. It was responsible for the success of two exploratory missions: New Horizons to Pluto and Juno to Jupiter.
