A stock exchange established in 1990 and based in Shenzhen, the major city of the Guangdong Province of China. It provides a market for trade in equities, bonds, mutual funds, and derivatives. In February 2016 the total market capitalization of A-share companies listed at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange was US$2.7 trillion.
