Israeli student-developed science centre and a key project of the Herzlyia municipality and the Israel Space Agency. The project engages teenage students in grades nine to 12, to construct satellites and take part in research and development processes, analyses, simulations, tests, business development, and public relations, similar to what takes place in the professional industry. The project has led to the development and launch of Israel’s first CubeSat, Duchifat-1, as well as its successor, Duchifat-2 (Hoopoe).
