A test, developed by Sen and Puri, which is most used in medical contexts, where individuals are re-examined at a sequence of time points. The individuals belong to one of a set of groups (usually corresponding to different treatments). The Sen–Puri test is a non-parametric test of the null hypothesis that the sequences of observations have arisen from a common distribution. The test uses scores, based on ranks, accumulated over the time points.
