Data provided by an individual remembering events in the past. Recall data are notoriously unreliable. For example, if voters are asked after a general election whether or not they voted, the replies will usually overestimate the true proportion voting. Similarly, when voters are asked which party they voted for, support for the winning party will usually be overestimated.
