A radio observatory at Dwingeloo, about 60 km southwest of Groningen, in the Netherlands, owned by the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy (ASTRON), which has its headquarters there. It contains a single 25-m dish, opened in 1956, now used mostly by amateur astronomers and for educational purposes.
