The third Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM) built by the Italian Space Agency for carrying supplies to and from the International Space Station in the cargo bay of the space shuttle. The other two MPLMs are named Leonardo and Raffaello. Donatello's first mission has not yet been scheduled. In July 2017, however, Lockheed Martin announced that it will transform the unused Donatello module into a test and training model for astronauts who may work and live beyond Earth orbit
