A radio observatory at Penticton, British Columbia, Canada, founded in 1960. It is operated by the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics. Its main instruments are a Synthesis Telescope, opened in 1972, currently consisting of seven 9-m radio dishes on a baseline 600 m long, and a 25.6-m dish, the John A. Galt Telescope, opened in 1960.
