释义 | code set Also known as coding scheme. A set of binary codes used by a computer system to create, store, and exchange information. A code set establishes a specific combination of 1s and 0s of a specific total length in order to represent a character, such as a letter, number, punctuation mark, or control character (e.g., carriage return, line feed, space, blank, and delete).
