| 释义 | CCS 1. Centum Call Seconds. In traffic engineering, hundred (centum) call seconds. One hour contains 3600 call seconds (60 seconds times 60 minutes), or 36 CCS. 2. Common Channel Signaling.A technique that uses a highly robust subnetwork, or separate network, to support the signaling and control and the network management requirements of the primary communications network. A CCS link is digital in nature, based on packet switching, and often in the form of a dedicated T1 or E-1 channel over a broadband optical fiber. A CCS subnetwork connects the various network switches and routers to centralized computer systems and databases in order to monitor and control the operations of an entire communications network, from end to end. Signaling System 7 (SS7), also known as Common Channel Signaling System 7 (CCS7) is a CCS network.
