X band

Frequencies in the 10 GHz range of the microwave spectrum. X band is used in some radar and

satellite systems. X Band Radar (XBR) is the primary fire control sensor, providing surveillance, acquisition, tracking, discrimination, fire control support and kill assessment for the United States National Missile Defense (NMD) system affectionately known as Star Wars.
