WMTS (Wireless Medical Telemetry Service) In the United States, a service that supports the remote monitoring of a patient’s health for medical purposes. All types of communications other than voice and video are permitted as long as they relate to the provision of medical care. WMTS operates in the 608–614 MHz, 1395–1400 MHz, and 1427–1432 MHz bands.
