释义 | voice processor A system, generally a specialized computer system, running application software that may perform a number of functions, including audiotex, automated attendant, and voice mail. In a large application, a voice processor is in the form of a standalone computer system linked to a central office (CO) or PBX. In an application serving a small-to-medium size enterprise (SME), a voice processor commonly is in the form of a set of application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) on a printed circuit board (PCB) that fits in the chassis of a key telephone system (KTS) or PBX.The voice processor was invented by Gordon Mathews.
