Unicode Consortium A not-for-profit consortium founded to develop and promote the use of the Unicode Standard. The consortium operates with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Internet Engineering Consortium (IEC) and World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to refine the Unicode specifications and expand the character set.
