HiperACCESS (High performance radio ACCESS)

A developing broadband wireless local loop

(WLL) access technology specified in the Broadband Radio Access Networks (BRAN) project chartered by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). HiperACCESS is targeting frequencies in the 40.5–43.5 GHz band, and is intended to seamlessly interoperate with IEEE 802.16, also known as WiMAX.
