Asteroid 511, discovered in 1903 by the American astronomer Raymond Smith Dugan (1878–1940). It is the sixth-largest main-belt asteroid, dimensions 360 × 294 × 254 km, mean diameter 300 km. It is of C type, with a rotation period of 5.13 hours. Davida’s orbit has a semimajor axis of 3.16 au, period 5.62 years, perihelion 2.57 au, aphelion 3.76 au, and inclination 15°.9.
