p or q, commonly written p ∨ q, is that proposition that is true unless both p and q are false. It is sometimes called inclusive disjunction, since it is true when both p and q are true. It is distinguished from exclusive disjunction, which is valued as false unless just one of p, q is true. See also conjunction, disjunction.
