A member of about 14 species of Galago, which are woolly primates, 13–20 cm long not counting the long tail, with large eyes and huge, mobile ears, found over most of sub-Saharan Africa in a variety of habitats. They are nocturnal and feed on small animals, fruit, gum, and nectar. They are sometimes kept as pets.
