A Russian facility in Moscow that develops and manufactures spacecraft for Rosaviakosmos's planetary missions. It is part of the Lavochkin Association which develops spacecraft. Established in the early 1980s, the centre helped develop the two Vega probes launched in 1984 and the two Phobos probes launched in 1988, among others. In 2002, the centre joined the EADS Space Transportation Company of Bremen, Germany, to establish the Return and Rescue Space Systems Company.
