Cross-stratification that comprises the set of sand units and mud drapes deposited during the lunar cycle of the tides. During spring tides the more vigorous water movement results in thick sand units and small mud drapes; the less vigorous water movement during neap tides results in thinner sand units and larger mud drapes.
