A search programme for near-Earth asteroids and comets operated by the Lincoln Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The search originally used two 1-m wide-field telescopes at Lincoln Laboratory’s Experimental Test Site on the White Sands Missile Range in Socorro, New Mexico. The first of these started operation in 1996 and the second in 1999, but both closed in 2013. The search resumed in 2015, using the 3.5-m Space Surveillance Telescope (SST) on Atom Peak at White Sands.
