A group of asteroids whose orbits lie entirely within that of the Earth (an aphelion of 0.983 astronomical units or less); also known as apohele asteroids or Interior Earth Objects. The first proposed member of the group was 1998 DK36, but its orbit is poorly determined. The first confirmed member was 2003 CP20, now known as (163693) Atira, aphelion 0.98 au, from which the group takes its name. As of 2017, 16 members of the group were known.
