A group of asteroids whose orbits lie entirely within that of the Earth (an aphelion of 0.983 astronomical units or less); also known as apohele asteroids or Interior Earth Objects. The first proposed member of the group was 1998 DK₃₆, but its orbit is poorly determined. The first confirmed member was 2003 CP₂₀, now known as (163693) Atira, aphelion 0.98 au, from which the group takes its name. As of 2017, 16 members of the group were known.
