A family of sunskirting comets seen by the SOHO spacecraft and first identified in 2002 by the German amateur astronomer Rainer Karl Otto Kracht (1948– ). Members of this group have a mean perihelion distance of 0.046 au and inclination around 13°.5. Like the Marsden group, they are thought to be an offshoot of Comet Machholz.
