The activity by an astronaut within a spacecraft. This includes scientific experiments, maintenance procedures, and giving directions to other crew members during their extravehicular activity. A study of motions during IVA on the International Space Station has been proposed by the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI; Italian Space Agency). This analysis by the ASI's TE-S2 system, using eight television cameras, would study motion problems caused by microgravity and the adaptation processes.
